Modern Friction

It has been awhile since I did a beauty product review mainly because I have been sticking to my usual beauty routine. On my birthday, however, I got a $10 coupon from Origins and decided to buy Modern Friction, Origins' top selling product. It's a exfoliant for your face and body. IT'S AMAZING!

I've used St. Ives Apricot Scrub, Neutrogena products, etc., this is the best one yet. Before I purchased the product they tested it on one of my hands. After I had rinsed it off, you could see a noticeable difference between my two hands. There was a healthy glow to my skin and my hand had never felt SO smooth.

I highly recommend it, and if you're in a dry climate like Arizona, I now consider it a MUST have.

I'm a Benefit "Hoola" Gal

I tan easily, but I try to stay out of the sun as much as I can because I don't want to be one giant freckle when I'm 60. Lately, I have been dusting my face with Benefit's bronzer "Hoola." I have had so many people comment on how tan I look. Little do they know that it only takes me one minute in front of my mirror with this magic powder. haha. I highly recommend it. It doesn't make you look orange, and it works for all skin types. All of you pale peeps, don't be scared of  this dark brown hue. Just dust it lightly all of your face and throat.

HD Invisible Cover Foundation

Sephora just had their Very Important Beauty (VIB) weekend where you saved 15% on your entire purchase. In need of more foundation, I decided to splurge on Make Up For Ever's High Defenition Foundation to see what all the fuss is about.

Well, I'm sold! Being a long time user of Lorac, I was nervous to try something new. The Sephora makeup artist assured me that this foundation was water based and wouldn't clog my pores. She did a small test on my chin, and I was pleased. However, it was when I woke up the next morning to apply the foundation I was so shocked. Even my aunt mentioned how flawless my skin looked.

I have several acne scars, and this makeup camouflaged them like no other!

I highly recommend this product to those that have problematic skin or if you are about to have a photo shoot. It costs $40, so I wouldn't say it's a "must have" beauty item if your skin is just blotchy and you want to cover a mole.
