PRETTY IN PINK WITH PETAL & PUP

53.jpg

I’m channeling some serious Molly Ringwald vibes in this cute pink dress by Petal & Pup. (Fun fact: Adam picked this dress out for me).

54.jpg

36 might be “too old” to wear dresses like this according to some people, but I really don’t care. There’s a playful part of my spirit that I’ve begun to find again and she needs to be let out more. I hope I’m 80 and wearing this dress because it’s a showstopper.

52.jpg

The big sleeves, color and polkadots beg for a party and celebration, and boy do I have a lot to celebrate right now.

I feel powerfully feminine in this number, and there are SO many more like it. Check out more playful dresses at Petal & Pup.

Who knew skorts could look and feel this good? I didn’t!

20.jpg

I’ve been working with Eddie Bauer lately to share and experience their women’s fashion line, and this skort has sold me.

I especially love that this skort has spandex underneath so that I can ride my bike and not worry about modesty.

We have a lot of options for shopping these days, but Eddie Bauer is a brand you can count on to deliver quality products that achieve form and function.

SSEKO LEATHER GOODS

01.jpg

I’d like to introduce you to a new favorite company - Sseko Designs. Through the creation and sales of leather goods and accessories, they create opportunity for women in Uganda to go to university. Sseko provides young women employment, and while these women create and manufacture leather goods, they are mentored and taught life skills that will foster financial independence and a brighter future.

Sseko handbags and accessories are beautiful, and the heart of the company is no different.

04.jpg

These cloud mules are my new favorite shoe. I wear them constantly. I would recommend going up a half or whole size.

21.jpg

This is my new carryall tote that I take everywhere I go. My favorite feature of this bag is that it has a zipper that goes across the top. I also love the woven texture.

17.jpg

The fact that I can own beautiful well-made goods and support a mission that changes the lives of young women is a win-win for me. Sseko is my new handbag destination for any future purchases!

FALL LAYERS WTH GARNET HILL

30.jpg

This post is sponsored by Garnet Hill.

Layering is how you survive all seasons of the desert. You never really need a heavy coat here. You just need the right layers. I’ve teamed up with Garnet Hill to show you nine different looks by playing with three different articles of clothing.

14.jpg

A tank and jeans is a basic go-to outfit from spring to fall. Garnet Hill’s silk camisoles are beautiful. They have adjustable straps and are slightly contoured at the waist. This makes them easy to tuck in and faltering when left untucked.

10.jpg

Tuck it into a pair of their ankle length denim jeans and add a pair of boots for a pre-fall outfit.

I’m really loving these suede Italian leather booties. Their shape, style and color makes them wearable for multiple seasons.

64.jpg

If the weather is starting to change, grab your denim jacket or grab your cardigan.

19.jpg

As the evening temps drop, you can button up your jean jacket for a denim on denim look. This denim jacket from Garnet Hill is my new favorite. The relaxed shape gives it a vintage look.

59.jpg

You can also button up your cardigan and tuck it into your jeans. I am in love with this turmeric color for fall.

39.jpg

For a warmer and cozier option, wear your silk camisole, cashmere sweater and your relaxed denim jacket.

41.jpg

If you get toasty, simply take a layer off and tie it around your waist.

57.jpg

It’s super easy and simple to look stylish for all seasons when you have quality and classic pieces. It truly comes down to investing in well-made fashion and Garnet Hill has you covered.

Eddie Bauer Hiking Essentials

04.jpg

These images were created in partnership with Eddie Bauer.

60.jpg

Arizona is one of the best states to live in if you love the outdoors and hiking. There are trails upon trails here. From the Grand Canyon to Sedona to Camelback Mountain to Mt. Lemmon to Saguaro National Park, every inch of the state has a place to hike. I’m thankful that there are some good trails right in my backyard.

20.jpg

I’ve partnered with Eddie Bauer to show you some of my hiking essentials. If you don’t know, Eddie Bauer is one of the most timeless outfitters in America. They have outdoor apparel for men, women and children, as well as several outdoor accessories to make your experience the most it can be.

52.jpg

I particularly love hiking leggings or joggers. These black ones have pockets and the high-waist is super in style. The desert can be unforgiving, and pants are always a safer bet with all of the cacti and thorns.

58.jpg

On days when the temps are in the triple digits, I balance my legging with tanks. This white one with a built in sports-bra makes getting dressed fast and easy.

39.jpg

Of course, I always bring a hat when I head outdoors. I like this tan one because it doesn’t get too hot in the sun. Try to avoid black and all costs. It’s hard when it comes to leggings though. I also love hiding sweat (wink).

Don’t forget a good backpack for longer hikes. This yellow pack is easy to spot and fantastic for any place with a lot of dirt. The waterproof material makes it easy to clean. I actually took it to the beach not too long ago, and it was MUCH better than a beach bag.

74.jpg

Eddie Bauer has definitely upped their game. More to come, but make sure to check out EddieBauer.com for all of your outdoor and hiking adventures.
