PRETTY IN PINK WITH PETAL & PUP

I’m channeling some serious Molly Ringwald vibes in this cute pink dress by Petal & Pup. (Fun fact: Adam picked this dress out for me).

36 might be “too old” to wear dresses like this according to some people, but I really don’t care. There’s a playful part of my spirit that I’ve begun to find again and she needs to be let out more. I hope I’m 80 and wearing this dress because it’s a showstopper.

The big sleeves, color and polkadots beg for a party and celebration, and boy do I have a lot to celebrate right now.

Who knew skorts could look and feel this good? I didn’t!

I’ve been working with Eddie Bauer lately to share and experience their women’s fashion line, and this skort has sold me.

Eddie Bauer is about functional fashion that allows you to experience adventure and the outdoors in comfort and style. This entire look is from Eddie Bauer. It’s washable, casual, cool and comfortable. It meets all of my criteria.

I especially love that this skort has spandex underneath so that I can ride my bike and not worry about modesty.

SSEKO LEATHER GOODS

I’d like to introduce you to a new favorite company - Sseko Designs. Through the creation and sales of leather goods and accessories, they create opportunity for women in Uganda to go to university. Sseko provides young women employment, and while these women create and manufacture leather goods, they are mentored and taught life skills that will foster financial independence and a brighter future.

These cloud mules are my new favorite shoe. I wear them constantly. I would recommend going up a half or whole size.

FALL LAYERS WTH GARNET HILL

Eddie Bauer Hiking Essentials

Arizona is one of the best states to live in if you love the outdoors and hiking. There are trails upon trails here. From the Grand Canyon to Sedona to Camelback Mountain to Mt. Lemmon to Saguaro National Park, every inch of the state has a place to hike. I’m thankful that there are some good trails right in my backyard.

I’ve partnered with Eddie Bauer to show you some of my hiking essentials. If you don’t know, Eddie Bauer is one of the most timeless outfitters in America. They have outdoor apparel for men, women and children, as well as several outdoor accessories to make your experience the most it can be.

I particularly love hiking leggings or joggers. These black ones have pockets and the high-waist is super in style. The desert can be unforgiving, and pants are always a safer bet with all of the cacti and thorns.

On days when the temps are in the triple digits, I balance my legging with tanks. This white one with a built in sports-bra makes getting dressed fast and easy.

Of course, I always bring a hat when I head outdoors. I like this tan one because it doesn’t get too hot in the sun. Try to avoid black and all costs. It’s hard when it comes to leggings though. I also love hiding sweat (wink).

Don’t forget a good backpack for longer hikes. This yellow pack is easy to spot and fantastic for any place with a lot of dirt. The waterproof material makes it easy to clean. I actually took it to the beach not too long ago, and it was MUCH better than a beach bag.
