AVRE is a new footwear company founded by women that seeks to inspire women from all walks of life to live a more sustainable lifestyle without sacrificing their love for good design. I don’t know about you, but I’m sold on the mission alone.

It’s obvious to me that they have delivered on their word. These shoes are too cute to boot! Can you believe they are made with recycled plastic bottles?! Yeah, me neither!

They are moisture-wicking as well, so you don’t have to worry about your feet getting stinky.

SSEKO LEATHER GOODS

I’d like to introduce you to a new favorite company - Sseko Designs. Through the creation and sales of leather goods and accessories, they create opportunity for women in Uganda to go to university. Sseko provides young women employment, and while these women create and manufacture leather goods, they are mentored and taught life skills that will foster financial independence and a brighter future.

Sseko handbags and accessories are beautiful, and the heart of the company is no different.

These cloud mules are my new favorite shoe. I wear them constantly. I would recommend going up a half or whole size.

This is my new carryall tote that I take everywhere I go. My favorite feature of this bag is that it has a zipper that goes across the top. I also love the woven texture.

The fact that I can own beautiful well-made goods and support a mission that changes the lives of young women is a win-win for me. Sseko is my new handbag destination for any future purchases!

BAGS THAT GIVE BACK

Handbags are one accessory that is essential for your daily life. You need a place to carry all of your personal belongings, so why not do it in style. Ixchel Triangle is a company that is committed to supporting and changing the lives of people in Guatemala through creating beautiful, artisan bags that are one of kind. Every person that helps in the making of these bags are paid above market wages, and the children of these families have their education paid for by Ixchel Triangle.

I love that their bags are standout accessories that are HIGH quality. They leather on my bag is strong and durable. The bag even has a leather bottom with metal feet on the bottom to protect it from getting dirty. 

For any woman that is about to be a mom or is a mom of little ones, they also offer diaper bags that are the coolest I've ever seen. 

I chose to pair my Qas Nim bag with my new chambray embellished tank from TJ Maxx, skinny jeans and my Timberland wedges.
